it has been very long, i know. and ya u're only hearing from me because school's out!

well, God has blessed me in many ways this sem, and i didn't suffer from any negative effects of studying! instead, i got sick 3 times this 3 months. once my fever soared high till 39!

another time when i was sick but had to force myself to study, the boyfren surprised me with a huge bouquet of pink and white lilies! and when it got delivered, yogi protected it with his life. that silly pooch tot it was his!

this was a picture taken after sharon's wedding at my place. thank God for su linn's boyfriend, phine! he was so nice to drive us back. saved us some cab fare :)

the boyfriend begs for this

feeling sentosa-ish, we decided to head there the day after national day. i wanted to get a pretty pair of bottom a few hours before being on the island, so i dropped by fox (which btw, was having 50% storewide then), grabbed a pair of shorts, threw in a belt and walked out of the store in them.

it was a great bonding time for us. never had so much fun with him in ages. really miss that day, boyfriend.

randomness

i need colors, lots of them.

yesterday, after waiting 3 hours in school for him, guo feng took me for a spin. expecting his red evo, i got treated with his dad's too-huge-for-feng-to-drive bmw. he got me mango sago at ah chew's while i got him satisfied with donut factory's double chocolate. talked about his exchange in europe and me psychoing him to take me there for a month's trip someday. sad that he's graduating in another 7 weeks. all will be well.

time seemed to pass so slowly for my grandpa. stick-thin he was, his motions slowed to a pace enough to cause worries of death. his inaudible speech was that of a listless dying old man clothed in torn clothes sleeping along the streets.

on monday morning, 30 July, he could still tell my wheelchair-bounded grandma to go to the doctor’s with the maid and not worry about him being alone at home. when they got back, they realised his painfully slow passing time came to still. the thought of his cold lifeless body found in his living room still brings pain. all i could remember that day was wailing and phone calls to everybody, including the undertaker. he's really dead.

i will always remember him as a very caring grandpa who loved his family very much. he paid extra attention to his wife and attended to her every needs 24 hours. he constantly worried for her safety especially when going out of the house. everything must be in place. cushion on the wheel-chair, checked. necessary supplies, checked. safety when going up/down slopes or over small steps, checked.

when he bought food or had extra cash from investments, he would deliver his prize all the way to his children’s' home (5 of them).

i'm not clear as to his past, but i know it must've been a great story. the only thing i can never understand is, what became of that handsome and well-built man? why a skinny corpse in the coffin?

we'll love you always...

pardon me, i know using picasa to upload my pictures is so cheapskate, but it really makes uploading of pictures faster.

so wed night, we had fun with 2/3 of the lims. from eating fish noodles @ china square, we headed to one fullerton for dessert. met josh whilst dining. poor him had to go back to work. then i dared chris for a photo with the stall aunty and that's how he got his free dessert. anyway i was planning to treat already la. haha. our last stop was at fullerton hotel where celine & i scouted for our high tea session.

then came yest, after matric i spotted female mag giving away free bag and being the aunty i am, i had to get a copy and that bag. so yes. then the boy & i went down to funan to check on my 2yr old undeveloped photos. we dined @ ajisan ramen with my tontoro bowl. tasty. GOOD.

summer term's over! celebrated the after-exam day with kc over jap. later, we had a movie marathon like night with harry potter & transformers. i saw the simpsons set-up & insisted a shot with it, and a cute giggly couple offered to take a shot of kc & i.

attended a happy couple's wedding on sat. concept of the auto toy car driven by a boy (who led the whole parade in) was interesting.

wonder how dad looks like?

so after dim sum-ing, headed to marina square for chit-chatting session with san, josh, jen, matt & jackie. it was then dinner @ ikea where sam, engwee, kev & doc joined the fun. we just sat there, talked & laughed so much till the aunty subtly chased us out by wanting to clear our table. didn't know they change their table cloth every day. let's plan another after u sisters get back from your trip. now about my present...

even the malays are racist

ok i've always thought in singapore, only the chinese are racist. not until one day at queenstown mrt station. this malay mrt security guy (mr brown) was walking around making his rounds when he saw this suspicious looking indian man (mr black) pacing up and down. immediately, mr brown went up to mr black and said harshly, "where do you want to go?". when i tried pacing up and down no one even cared to bother about me. racist sia, mr brown.

oh one more thing. i, or rather, the boy, embarrassingly queued up 2 hours for donuts from the donut factory. shame shame. but it was a great sweet treat. the next time, i'll just get glazed (original) and double choc (with choc filling). shiok la.

can't believe i'm updating again right? wahaha...

so these few days have been busy with preps for matriculation day. had to paste 1600 stickers on 1600 files. & the result, EVERYONE LOVED IT. haha. think it must've been the sticker. well done mavis!

but of course, our booth's the nicest!

yesterday's was kian chew's 21st. it was outrageous that no one dined with him on the actual day. so after my event, we had dinner at a jap restaurant he & his family frequent. we opened a bottle of white wine (out of 847983743 bottles his dad has with the restaurant) and had really nice food. with me disgusted by raw food, the chefs prepared cooked ones! yummy ehz. we didnt even have to order. the food just kept coming. it must've been the chef's lucky day coz not only did we "shang" them whit wine, the other customers on their left & centre each "shang" them red wine & sake respectively. as usual, after dinner, we had a walk (this time to a pub overlooking the city) & a drive-about. with me tipsy.
